This white paper provides an overview of critical conversations regarding the design of games, both analogue and digital, that can be described as “ecogames” and of the ways in which game design, as well as games’ aesthetic and thematic preoccupations, may foster, promote, and otherwise showcase mindsets, positions, and propositions under the label of sustainability.
