STRATEGIES joins Gaming Projects Cluster Meeting

On Wednesday 10 June 2026, we took part in the European Gaming Projects Cluster meeting to discuss the future of gaming research, innovation and policy in Europe.

By bringing together researchers, project representatives, policymakers and industry stakeholders this event provided an opportunity to share knowledge, identify opportunities and explore some of the key challenges facing the sector. Key topics that were discussed include:

  • AI in gaming.

  • Safer gaming ecosystems.

  • Competitiveness of the gaming industry.

  • Industry mapping and NACE codes.

  • Emerging research gaps and policy needs.

We were delighted to be part of the conversation and look forward to continuing to work with partners across Europe to support a more innovative, sustainable and resilient games ecosystem.

The event was organised by the Games for Culture Cluster (GCC), operating under the HAMLET project, in collaboration with the European Research Executive Agency (REA).
