At the Immersive Tech Week Rotterdam (4–6 December 2024), Joost Raessens was invited to host two workshops for the creative industry.

In the first workshop, Driving Change Through Serious Games (organized by the Dutch Games Association with the support of ClickNL, the knowledge and innovation network for the creative industry), Rose-Anne Dotinga (Senior Strategic Designer at IJsfontein) spoke about “The Power of Serious Games for Behavior Change” and Bas van Nuland (Co-Founder of The Barn) introduced the topic of “Platforms for Serious Gaming.”

In the second workshop, Lindy Damen (EVRgreen Studio) and Joost Raessens hosted a roundtable discussion on XR for Sustainability.
